Allstate Insurance prepares response to Hurricane Harvey
Insurance adjusters and mobile claims centers staged around the perimeter and ready to help
AUSTIN, TX. [Aug. 26], 2017 – Allstate Insurance is prepared to respond quickly to Hurricane Harvey.
Allstate’s National Catastrophe Team has staged personnel and six of its Mobile Claims Centers around the state in advance of Hurricane Harvey’s landfall.
Once it is safe to enter the affected areas, Allstate Insurance agents and the National Catastrophe Team will be available to help policyholders start the claim process following Hurricane Harvey.
Allstate Insurance claims personnel are available 24/7 at 1-800-54-STORM (1-800-547-8676) where customers can file claims resulting from Hurricane Harvey or receive additional information about the claims process.
The Allstate Mobile Claims Centers are specially equipped motor coaches designed to go into impacted areas quickly after storms happen and will be set up as temporary claim locations to assist Allstate policyholders start the claims process. These units are equipped with satellite phones, wireless data access, generators and even bottled water and teddy bears for kids and will deploy into areas impacted by Hurricane Harvey.
The Allstate Mobile Claims Centers are staffed by members of the National Catastrophe Team, a group of employees dedicated to helping Allstate policyholders begin the claims process.
