Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer
Allstate Insurance Company

As executive vice president and chief risk officer, Steven Verney is responsible for enterprise risk and return management. He is a member of Allstate's senior leadership team.

Verney began his Allstate career in 1981 and has served in a broad array of positions, including vice president, finance for both Allstate Protection and Allstate Financial. He was named vice president and treasurer in 2005 and was promoted to chief risk officer in 2009. In 2012, he was promoted to executive vice president and joined the senior leadership team.

Verney earned his MBA from State University of New York at Buffalo.
