Judith P. Greffin has overseen Allstate's $100 billion investment portfolio as chief investment officer since 2008. She also is the head of Allstate Investments, LLC, and a member of Allstate's senior leadership team.
Since joining Allstate in 1990, Greffin served in a series of key investment positions, including manager of Allstate's fixed-income portfolio and the portfolio management group. She began her financial career as an analyst with the Huntington National Bank, and served as a senior portfolio manager with Flagship Financial before joining Allstate. She has served on the Allstate Foundation Grant Committee.
Greffin earned her CFA charter in 1990 and has served as director of the CFA Society of Chicago. For many years, she was an advisor to Institutional Investor's Fixed Income Forum, and she is currently a member of the Economic Club of Chicago.
An Ohio native, Greffin is active in her Oak Park, Ill. community as past president of the local United Way, chair of the school district's Finance Task Force, and president of the Oak Park Education Foundation. She serves on both the Chicago advisory and national boards of Facing History and Ourselves.
Greffin holds an MBA from the Fisher College of Business at Ohio State University and a bachelor's degree in marketing from Miami University of Ohio.
