Thomas J. Wilson, 54, is the chairman, president and chief executive officer of The Allstate Corporation and Allstate Insurance Company.

Wilson has served as president and CEO of Allstate since 2007. He became chairman of The Allstate Corporation's Board of Directors in 2008.

From 2002 to 2006, Wilson was president of Allstate Protection, responsible for the company's property-casualty insurance operations. In 2005 and 2006, he also served as president and chief operating officer of The Allstate Corporation.

From 1999 to 2002, Wilson was chairman and president of Allstate Financial, which offers a range of life insurance, retirement and investment products that provide financial protection and help middle-income Americans better prepare for retirement. From 1995 to 1998, Wilson served as Allstate's chief financial officer. He joined Allstate in 1995 from Sears, Roebuck and Co., where he was vice president of strategy and analysis.

He was managing director of mergers and acquisitions at Dean Witter Reynolds from 1986 to 1993 and held various financial positions at the Amoco Corporation from 1980 to 1986.

Wilson is chairman of the Property and Casualty CEO Roundtable and chairman-elect of the Financial Services Roundtable. He is a board member of Rush University Medical Center, the Museum of Science and Industry, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Catalyst, the leading non-profit organization working to advance women in business. He is also a member of the World Presidents' Organization, the Financial Services Forum, The Business Roundtable and the Civic Committee of the Commercial Club of Chicago.

A native of St. Clair Shores, Michigan, Wilson holds an MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Michigan.

Brune has worked in various managerial capacities for Allstate since 1976. Under her leadership as vice president of Allstate technology shared services until 2011, Allstate developed an enterprise-wide business-aligned technology strategy, created a virtual data center environment, developed best-in-class monitoring systems for its Web operations, consolidated knowledge management processes, and brought an enterprise focus to information security and business resumption platforms while generating efficiency gains.

Brune is an inductee of the YWCA's Academy of Women Achievers and has been recognized as one of the "Premier 100" information technology leaders by Computerworld magazine. Brune is a recipient of the CIO of the Year Award from the Executives' Club of Chicago, the Excellence in Corporate IT Leadership Award from Women in Technology International, and the Moore School of Business Distinguished Alumni Award from the University of South Carolina.

Brune serves on the board of Ameren Corporation. She graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1974 with a bachelor's degree in management.

Prior to joining Allstate in 2011, Chandra was executive vice president and chief operating officer for HealthMarkets, Inc., which has grown from a niche individual health insurance manufacturer into a large independent distributor of insurance and retirement products for the self-insured and small business markets. As part of the company's repositioning, Chandra helped lead the 2009 launch of Insphere Insurance Solutions, an insurance agency subsidiary which distributes small business and middle-income market insurance products in 50 states and the District of Columbia. Before joining HealthMarkets in 2008, Chandra held senior operating and strategic development roles at Aquiline Capital Partners, Nationwide Financial Services and the Bankers Life and Casualty subsidiary of Conseco. He began his career as a consultant with McKinsey and Company's financial institution practice.

Chandra earned a master's degree in operations research from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Sloan School of Management, and a bachelor's degree in computer science from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi, India.

Previously, Civgin was executive vice president, finance and strategy, Esurance for Allstate Insurance Company. He joined Allstate in 2008 after working at OfficeMax, where he was executive vice president and chief financial officer from 2005 to 2008. He began his career in 1986 at Itel Corporation, where he eventually became vice president and treasurer. He was responsible for capital structure activities for the corporation's multibillion-dollar balance sheet. In 1995, he joined Alliant Foodservice as vice president and treasurer when the company was acquired from Kraft by Clayton, Dublier and Rice.

In 1997, Civgin was named senior vice president, finance of Montgomery Ward as part of a new management team brought in by GE Capital Corporation, the majority owner. Later, he was promoted to senior vice president, merchandise operations. Civgin served as senior vice president, finance and chief financial officer of General Binding Corporation from 2002 to 2005, as that company went through a successful transformation and turnaround, culminating in a merger in 2005 with Acco Brands.

Civgin received his bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Illinois at Champaign and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Judith P. Greffin has overseen Allstate's $100 billion investment portfolio as chief investment officer since 2008. She also is the head of Allstate Investments, LLC, and a member of Allstate's senior leadership team.

Since joining Allstate in 1990, Greffin served in a series of key investment positions, including manager of Allstate's fixed-income portfolio and the portfolio management group. She began her financial career as an analyst with the Huntington National Bank, and served as a senior portfolio manager with Flagship Financial before joining Allstate. She has served on the Allstate Foundation Grant Committee.

Greffin earned her CFA charter in 1990 and has served as director of the CFA Society of Chicago. For many years, she was an advisor to Institutional Investor's Fixed Income Forum, and she is currently a member of the Economic Club of Chicago.

An Ohio native, Greffin is active in her Oak Park, Ill. community as past president of the local United Way, chair of the school district's Finance Task Force, and president of the Oak Park Education Foundation. She serves on both the Chicago advisory and national boards of Facing History and Ourselves.

Greffin holds an MBA from the Fisher College of Business at Ohio State University and a bachelor's degree in marketing from Miami University of Ohio.

Under his leadership, Wells Fargo re-engineered its real estate lending with new delivery capabilities that enabled the field sales force to serve customers more effectively with just-in-time information.

Earlier in his career, Gupta was a founding member of the corporate executive team of Airclic Inc., a startup wireless Internet venture, and senior vice president, information technology and operations for GMAC Residential, a division of General Motors. Gupta also has held senior operations, sales, marketing and strategic development roles at INTELSAT, a telecommunications company, and at Thomson Corp., an information company.

Gupta is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. He also received a master's degree in computer engineering from West Virginia University and an MBA from George Mason University.

Michele Coleman Mayes is executive vice president, general counsel for Allstate Insurance Company, and a member of Allstate's senior leadership team. Mayes joined Allstate in 2007. From 1976 through 1982, she served in the United States Department of Justice as Assistant United States Attorney in Detroit and Brooklyn, eventually assuming the role of Chief of the Civil Division in Detroit. In 1982, Mayes entered the corporate sector as managing attorney of Burroughs Corporation. Her career continued to evolve as Burroughs and Sperry Corporation merged, creating Unisys Corporation, for which she was appointed staff vice president and associate general counsel for worldwide litigation. In 1992, she joined Colgate-Palmolive Company as vice president and associate general counsel U.S. In 1993, she was promoted to vice president of human resources and legal for North America. She next became vice president, deputy general counsel and assistant secretary, and was promoted in 2001 to vice president, legal and assistant secretary, and elected a corporate officer. In 2003, she transitioned to Pitney Bowes, where she served as senior vice president and general counsel.

Mayes is the recipient of numerous awards, including American Bar Association, Commission on Women in the Profession - The Margaret Brent Award and the Minority Corporate Counsel Association Trailblazer Award. She also was named one of America's top black lawyers by Black Enterprise in 2003. In 2009, Mayes was recognized as one of the most Influential general counsels in America by The National Law Journal. Her influence is felt in business as well as the private sector, where she is a sought-after speaker, positive role model and mentor who works tirelessly for causes that help minorities and women.

Mayes serves on numerous boards, including Legal Momentum, RAND Corporation, the American Bar Association Center for Racial and Ethnic Diversity, and Leadership Counsel for Legal Diversity.

She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan and her JD from the University of Michigan Law School.

Previously, Roche was senior vice president of Protection Technology and Administration. In that role, he was responsible for all aspects of Protection technology, agency and customer support functions, the Allstate call centers, and integration of various shared service functions.

Roche joined Allstate in 2002 as Allstate Financial vice president, information technology, where he was responsible for technology strategy, application development and interfacing with the corporate technology organization. He was named group vice president and chief information officer of Allstate Protection Technology upon its creation in 2003.

Before joining Allstate, Roche served as Heller Financial's group president of small business finance (1994-2002) and chief information officer (1990-1994). He spent 17 years at Continental Illinois National Bank in various IT positions, including managing director of IT applications development.

Roche is a member of the board of directors of One Economy, a national non profit organization that helps bring access to technology into the homes of low-income people around the country. He is also a member of the board of trustees of Rosary High School in Aurora, Ill., and served as a director of the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce.

Roche received his bachelor's degree in mathematics and MBA from Northern Illinois University.

Shebik joined Allstate in 1995 as assistant vice president holding positions in mergers and acquisitions, Treasury and finance. He was promoted to vice president in 1999 to oversee acquisition integration, and subsequently, accounting and financial systems. He has served as chief financial officer of all three of Allstate's business units - Allstate Financial from 2001-2005, Allstate Protection from 2005-2008 and Allstate Investments from 2009-2012. Shebik held various corporate-level accounting and financial positions with Sears, Roebuck and Co. from 1988-1995, responsible for internal and external financial reporting, accounting policy, financial planning and mergers and acquisitions. He worked for Arthur Andersen & Co. in accounting and auditing services from 1980-1988.

Shebik received a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance in 1978 from the University of Illinois and a MBA in 1980 from the University of Chicago. He is a member of the Financial Executives Institute, the American Institute of CPAs and the Illinois CPA Society and is active in charitable endeavors in and around his hometown of Wheaton, Illinois.

In 2007, Sorenson was promoted to senior vice president, protection distribution, where he was responsible for Allstate's multi-access distribution platform of exclusive agencies, independent agencies and direct. He was appointed to his current role in 2008.

Before joining Allstate, Sorenson was a general manager at Progressive Insurance Company with responsibility for several Midwestern states. Prior to that, he was an engagement manager at McKinsey & Company, working in the Chicago, Houston and London offices.

Sorenson holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and an A.B. degree in economics from Harvard College. Sorenson serves on the board of the Foglia YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago.

Walker currently serves as a member of the board of trustees of the Arthur W. Page Society, the Insurance Education Institute, the Business Civic Leadership Center, WTTW-11, the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum and the Chicago Architecture Foundation. She previously served on the boards of numerous Chicago community organizations, including the Art Institute of Chicago, Brookfield Zoo, the Chicago Children's Museum, Prentice Women's Hospital Northwestern Memorial and the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.

Matthew Winter is president, Allstate Auto, Home and Agencies, and a member of Allstate's senior leadership team. In this role, he leads Allstate’s personal lines businesses that provide auto and home insurance through Allstate agencies, including Insurance Operations (Allstate Claims, Product Operations, Risk Management and the Program Management Office) and Agency Operations (Exclusive Agency Sales, field operations, Customer Experience and Retention).

Previously, Winter was senior executive vice president, Insurance Operations, and president and chief executive officer of Allstate Financial, which offers a range of life insurance, retirement and investment products that provide financial protection and help middle-income Americans better prepare for retirement. Before joining Allstate in 2009, Winter held senior leadership positions at large-scale providers of life insurance and financial services. He served as vice chairman of American International Group ("AIG"). In addition to being responsible for numerous global functions at AIG, he also served as president and chief executive officer for AIG's American General domestic life companies, including the entire AIG North American life insurance operations. Previously, Winter was executive vice president at Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company, where he oversaw all domestic insurance businesses and distribution channels.

Earlier in his career, Winter was vice president and chief ethics and corporate compliance officer for Connecticut Mutual; worked for several years as an attorney in white collar criminal defense; and served 12 years of active duty with the U.S. Army.

Winter earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan, a J.D. from Albany Law School of Union University, and an LL.M. from the University of Virginia School of Law.
